Challenge
Due to the hazardous nature of chemical manufacturing, Dow developed a rigorous workplace safety program with in-depth change management processes and considerable internal audits. The challenges the client faced with the incumbent service provider included poor EH&S performance, unacceptable audit results, budget challenges (including payroll and vendor spend), lack of sound change management practices, inconsistent results across the regions, and lack of client satisfaction.
Solution
- Formed a safety partnership with Dow cultivating a robust culture of safety through training and compliance with Dow’s process safety standards.
- Reviewed the day-to-day operations and hired EH&S and ODMS (Operational Discipline Management System) leads.
- Reviewed expenditures and optimized vendor contracts by securing national pricing with key suppliers. Restructured RFPs and bid evaluations.

Challenge
In 2023, Newmark was awarded the FM contract from Frontier. We inherited systems that were outdated, heavily reliant on manual processes, and plagued by poor user communication and technician visibility.
