Newmark helped Trellix enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and scale facilities management across a complex global technology portfolio.

Situation

Trellix, a global cybersecurity company, was referred to Newmark’s Facilities Management team after receiving transaction services from a Newmark brokerage team. Following a rigorous RFI/RFP process, Newmark was hired to support operations across leased offices, high-tech facilities and multi-purpose spaces.

The engagement focused on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs and creating a more consistent global service delivery model. Newmark assembled a team to provide procurement oversight, manage payment for services and identify opportunities to refine operations.

Newmark delivered services through a single point of contact to create greater accountability and consistency across hard and soft facilities management, food services, transportation, technology and workplace experience. The team also aligned service management with Trellix’s portfolio metrics, SLAs and KPIs.

Outcome

In 2023, Newmark delivered $500K in operational efficiencies and cost savings, equal to 13% of Trellix’s 2023 budget. The team supported the opening of two new client locations in the United States, delivered analytics to support portfolio right-sizing and deployed Optality flex office solutions across multiple global regions. By standardizing the global delivery model, Newmark also reduced the risk of managing multiple service providers.
